Dave Zowine

Founder/Chief Executive Officer/Board Director

ZOE Holding Company

David Zowine encapsulates an entrepreneurial spirit and committed work ethic that is reflected throughout ZOE Holding Company. In 2011, Zowine acquired 100 percent ownership of ZOE and has been working with his leadership team to forge a path of growth for each business line. He has a degree in business administration from Providence College and is actively involved in many of the philanthropic endeavors of ZOE and its business lines.

Bill Shanahan

Chief Operating Officer/Board Director

ZOE Holding Company

Bill Shanahan joined ZOE Holding Company in 2015. He is a board director and a member of the Senior Leadership Committee for the company’s home healthcare subsidiaries. Shanahan previously served as the Director of Legal Affairs for Lazard Asset Management, LLC and has more than 10 years of legal experience in the financial services industry. Shanahan graduated cum laude from Boston College Law School, received an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law and B.A in political science from Providence College.

Charles Johnson

Chief Cultural Officer

ZOE Holding Company

Charles Johnson has been with ZOE Holding Company since its inception (as MGA Employee Services) in 1997. He started as a recruiter and has served in diverse roles and divisions for the company. Today, his primary role is training recruiters and managers throughout all ZOE subsidiaries. Previously, he was an educator in Texas and Arizona.

Ari Ochoa

Chief Information Officer & VP, Operations

ZOE Holding Company

Ari Ochoa has been with the company since 2002. His work focuses on the enhancement of technology, business systems and operations functionality. Previously, he worked to establish and scale the company’s healthcare staffing and home healthcare subsidiaries. Ochoa is currently pursuing an Information Science degree at the University of Arizona.

Patrick Shanahan

VP, Business Development

ZOE Holding Company

Patrick Shanahan joined the company in 2002 and is responsible for overseeing all recruiting, business development and training for many of ZOE’s staffing lines of business. Over the years, he has been responsible for developing and/or scaling multiple business lines. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Norwich University.

Brett Costello

Chief Operating Officer

MGA Homecare

Brett Costello joined MGA in 2005 and today is responsible for leading the sales and recruitment teams for home healthcare operations in Arizona, Colorado and Texas. Costello is a member of the Senior Leadership Committee, comprised of key operational, financial, and clinical executives who oversee all aspects of MGA’s Home Healthcare services. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Justin Grant

VP, Business Development (Colorado)

MGA Homecare

Justin Grant joined the team in 2008 and leads MGA Home Healthcare’s operations in Colorado. Grant is also a member of the Senior Leadership Committee, comprised of key operational, financial, and clinical executives who oversee all aspects of MGA’s Home Healthcare services throughout Colorado, Arizona, and Texas. He graduated from Norwich University, Military College of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Medicine and minor in Biology and served in the United States Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment in the 2nd Battalion.

Mike Ilardo

VP, Business Development

SitePro Solutions

Mike Ilardo joined the company in 2000, and oversees all recruiting, business development and training for SitePro Solutions Prior to joining SitePro, Ilardo was co-owner of MIMO Enterprises, a frozen dessert manufacturer, based in Gaithersburg, Md. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Richmond.

Peter King

VP, Sales

Duke’s Drivers & Logistics

Pete King joined Duke’s Drivers & Logistics in 2018. King is responsible for expanding the Duke’s presence in the east coast market and is heading up the newly formed Boston office. Prior to joining Duke’s, King worked in the auto industry for 24 years, most recently serving as general manager and partner of an award-winning Ford dealership. King became a dealership general manager at the age of 26 and grew the business to a team of 75 people.

Alia Henss

Operations Manager

ZOE Holding Company

Alia Henss has been with the company since 2000. Her work ensures each office is managed and run well, from the front desk reception, to fulfillment and travel management, and every need in between. Having served herself as a front desk receptionist, Henss is keenly aware of how to organize and manage a multi-office team. She has bachelor of science degree in secondary education social science from Southeastern University in Florida.

Mike Narducci

VP, Training & Recruiting

ZOE Holding Company

Mike Narducci has been with the company since 2007. He heads up the recruiting and training team for the organization, with a focus on sourcing quality candidates across each business unit and growing our internal talent base. Narducci previously served as a recruiter and account manager in the MGA Employee Services business line. He has Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from University of Arizona in Tucson.

Ivan Hannel

Legal Counsel

ZOE Holding Company

Ivan Hannel joined Zoe Holding Company in 2018 as general counsel. He is responsible for legal affairs, regulatory compliance, setting internal governance policies, and providing guidance on company strategies and their implementation. He was formerly a civil trial litigator and is licensed in Arizona state and federal district court. He is a graduate of Yale University and Northwestern School of Law.

Dave Sloan

Chief Technical Officer

ZOE Holding Company

Dave Sloan joined ZOE Holding Company in 2018. He is responsible for overseeing all technological needs and development within the ZOE brands. Previously, he was the president of Affinity Technology, an IT solutions company he founded and operated for 26 years. He gained his prior technical and managerial experience through working with Fortune 500 companies such as Intel, Honeywell and Motorola.

Jeff Elsasser

Director of Human Resources

ZOE Holding Company

Jeff Elsasser joined ZOE Holding Company in 2014. For 15 years, he has worked in the staffing and project outsourcing industry, with 10 years at a publicly held global company. He is certified by the HR Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and an active member in the Society for Human Resource Management. Elsasser holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Arizona State University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Carol Klimas

VP, Marketing

ZOE Holding Company

Carol Klimas supported ZOE’s marketing efforts for several years on a contract basis and joined the company full time in 2018. She’s responsible for setting the overall brand direction for each business entity and executing on strategic marketing initiatives, harnessing her more than 20 years of healthcare experience. Klimas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations and communications from Central Missouri State University.
